President's Welcome
Aloha,
and welcome to the website of the Hawaii Quilt Guild! We are
very glad you visited and hope you like what you see. The Hawaii
Quilt Guild offers a very unique mix of quilters from eight
years of age to eighty plus. Our group welcomes quilters of
all styles of quilting: traditional patchwork, Hawaiian Quilting,
machine piecing, hand piecing, sashiko stitching, fusing techniques,
etc. We have a real blend of all quilting styles, and we welcome
new ideas and new friends. We offer classes, an annual retreat,
an annual quilt show, and show and tell every meeting. We appreciate
the work you put into your creations.
Please stop by if you are in the neighborhood on our meeting
night, otherwise stop by our website periodically to see what
we have going on.
Aloha, and thanks for visiting the website of the Hawaii Quilt
Guild…..

Aloha
Mai... Welcome.
Membership meetings
are held at the Central Union Church located at
1660
S. Beretania St. on the fourth (not always
the last) Monday of the month. Our library opens at 6:00
p.m. and the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
Exceptions: If a federal holiday falls on the 4th Monday of any particular month, the General Meeting will normally take place on the 3rd Monday for that month. The June potluck meeting is for the installation of new officers, and the December meeting is our annual holiday party. Locations and dates of these are announced in the newsletter and at the guild meeting preceding the event. |
